No grandparent should have to navigate raising a grandchild alone.
We support grandparents by connecting families with resources, community partnerships, and programs that help grandchildren thrive. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every volunteer makes a lasting difference for families who have stepped up when they were needed most.

Across Riverside County, California, and throughout the nation, thousands of grandparents are raising their grandchildren, providing the love, stability, and guidance every child deserves. While they step up in extraordinary ways, many face financial, legal, and emotional challenges that can make the journey difficult.
GPL- Grandparents Love exists to ensure these families don’t have to face those challenges alone. Through resources, education, advocacy, and community support, we empower grandparents and help create brighter futures for the grandchildren in their care.

Here in Riverside County, more than 16,200 grandparents are raising their grandchildren. These families often face unexpected financial and emotional challenges, making local resources, community partnerships, and support more important than ever.

Across California, more than 252,000 grandparents are raising their grandchildren. Many are balancing retirement, healthcare needs, and limited financial resources while providing the stability, care, and love their grandchildren deserve.

Across the United States, approximately 2.5 million children are being raised by grandparents or other relative caregivers. When parents are unable to provide care, grandparents step forward to create safe, stable, and loving homes—often making tremendous personal and financial sacrifices.

Every family completes our Wants, Needs & Nice to Have assessment, allowing us to provide assistance that reflects their unique circumstances. By listening first, we ensure every family receives support that is meaningful, practical, and life-changing.
When unexpected challenges arise, GPL provides practical assistance that helps families remain safe, stable, and together. From replacing broken appliances and repairing vehicles to addressing critical home repairs, we remove barriers that can threaten a family’s well-being. Every resource is provided with one goal in mind: helping grandparents continue providing a loving home for the children who depend on them.

Empowering Grandparents
Helping grandparents navigate the challenges of raising grandchildren by providing educational workshops, legal and financial resource referrals, caregiver guidance, parenting support, advocacy, and connections to trusted community services.
Health & Wellness
Supporting caregivers through health education, wellness workshops, nutrition resources, fitness opportunities, preventive health screenings, mental health support, stress management, and connections to healthcare providers and community wellness programs.
Generations Together
Strengthening family bonds through intergenerational activities, family outings and celebrations, educational events, recreational programs, and meaningful opportunities that bring grandparents and grandchildren together to create lasting memories.
Caregiver Relief
Providing caregivers with access to trusted respite care, caregiver support groups, self-care resources, volunteer assistance, and opportunities to rest and recharge while ensuring their grandchildren remain safe and supported.
